VZ Forums and your Android/iPhone?
« on: October 15, 2012, 12:45:52 PM »
I know there are some of you following the forum on Twitter, as do I. Just curious here, do any of you try to access the forum from your phone? I know that it is not the best experience from my Android, but am curious.

I routinely use my iPhone and never seem to have any problems. In fact I'm replying
to this thread with my phone as I type.

Thanks Guys! I use an Android and the home page for the forum looks a little wonky, but one you get into an area like this it is OK.

Butch, have you looked into Tapatalk for the forums? As for the rest of the site it looks pretty good on my galaxy nexus 3 but the tabs/menus up top are a bit hard to use

I have not. Had to google it, I see it is an app for the Android (and others) so I will take a look at it. Thanks!

Hmmm, I looked at this or something else like it. NOT sure we are ready to make and changes on the site yet, but thanks for sharing this with us!

Yea, faster/easier way to view and reply to forums on a phone. Lots of people love it. Not sure what it might offer for the rest of the site. Typically when you go to the forum on your phone it will alert you that it can use Tapatalk and offers to use it for you.

I've accessed the forum with my iPhone, but the font is just so small for my old eyes.

On Android some of the formatting is messed up, but I agree with the font being to small as well. We are looking at something now due out in a next release. We will see how that pans out before dumping it in here.

Thank you all for your help and feedback!!
