Beaten Up Datographic
« on: August 03, 2014, 05:30:12 PM »

While clearing out some things of my late father in-law, I've come across this Zodiac Datographic. From looking at other posts on the forum, it looks to be from the 1950's. Is this right?

It has lost a fair amount of its gold plating, the crystal is badly scratched and cracked but otherwise, it seems to run well.

I'm not planning to sell this but wondered if it would be worth getting it serviced and repaired? If it would be, how difficult would it be to find a replacement crystal here in the UK?

Any advice is more than welcome.
