Shovel-style hands on Sea Wolves(Wolfs?)
« on: April 24, 2010, 08:41:06 pm »
Curious when the shovel hands came into the collection...I assume later on but couldn't find any examples in the ad section.  Any ideas?

Roughly the mid-1970's.

Thanks Butch.  Do you know the differences between the 75 and 72B movements?  They look the same to my untrained eyes.

The higher number movements came later and were improved versions of the earlier ones. IF I remember correctly the 75 had the crown push date set feature and probably other enhancements only a watchmaker may know.
