Were the metal bezels (polygon shaped) of the early Super Sea Wolfs shiny steel or were they similar in appearance to the center of the case that has what looks like a lightly sand blasted surface?  Photo attached.  Also, were these from the 60s? Thank you.

All of the bezel lockrings from this type of case that I've seen look to have been polished. I say "look", because I have two fistfuls of these cases from various makers and some are so worn it's hard to tell what the original finish was. Wouldn't make sense to blast it IMO because the finish would be spoiled the first time you go into the case.
