Hello,
I am attempting to determine if an available Zodiac is legitimate or not. I cannot find examples of this exact model online, in the gallery here, in ebay histories, etc.
Here's a photo: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/3037/2304/products/IMG_6045_2048x2048.JPG
It looks similar to some legit models, but has the Tritium and an applied logo where others have just "Swiss Made" and printed/painted logos...
I don't mind paying for access to the catalogs, but the website only shows a few relevant years (71, 75) and it requires Flash?
That is a 70's model.
Thanks, much appreciated.
If I sign up for the catalog access, do you need flash to view them?
(Flash is a huge security issue on the modern internet...and stays disabled in all my browsers)
Interesting bracelet. Likely not period correct for the watch. But still cool looking. Probably for Zodiac two tone early Sea Wolf? Is it Zodiac signed?
That watch is in the 1974 catalog and does indeed have a different band on it there. But as I have said so many times in this forum, the dealers back then would do most anything the customer wanted. Swap bands, bezels, etc.
Let's not talk about what collectors and watchmakers have done to them over the years at the customer's request.
I bet this bracelet came from two tone Sea Wolf in 699 case.
Never seen this bracelet configuration before. Thanks for sharing!

Is this one of the catalogs available on the site? I don't see it listed in the preview? Might be worth enabling flash and ponying up to take a peek at the original configuration.
Believe it is 1975 not 1974
Yes, 75 catalog, thanks for that.
If you are not a collector there is no point in paying for the reference site.

Flash is not a requirement for the catalog site. With flash enabled you do get more features like zooming in. The catalogs work fine with flash disabled. This year the catalogs site will get a major overhaul and be redeveloped with HTML5 rendering of the catalogs so that all the flash features work without flash.
Thanks for the update Sea Wolf!
