I'm curious what VZ members and visitors are currently interested in.
I've been on a Kingline kick lately (just picked up another one from a vintage dealer in Italy, waiting on its arrival now) and it's occurred to me that most recent posts are just as likely to be Sea Wolf related as not.
I'd be interested in hearing from regular forum members as well as those lurkers that don't seem to like posting. So, what are you on the look out for.? Or if you're not actually looking to purchase something, what is it you find interesting and appealing and gets you looking for further info?
You're the weird one mate (like me!). Most here have always been interested in Sea Wolfs or Chronos so good like with this thread. Nice try though!
:agreei
But, you didn't answer the question. :lolz;
That being said, I would be interested in knowing if VZ members in particular are still trying to acquire more Sea Wolfs and if so, which models.
First gen Seawolfs/"Pre-wolfs" and Chronographs :sm3
I'm trying to find any evidence if this unicorn looked like on a picture in my imagination
Well that's two ends of the spectrum in regards to Sea Wolfs. Between UV and Yuri looks like a forty plus year span.
That quartz one Yuri posted looks like it's made up from parts spanning a twenty year period though.
Dial is similar to the last gen Supers from the Calame era but it's not a Super. Bezel looks the same as well. The case looks to be one of the Professionals from the Monnier era. The day + date is super unusual as well.

Wow, that's crazy. Missed the original post but seems like pretty solid logic. I could have mixed up some history but I believe Zodiac switched case manufacturers for the final Calame era Super S.Ws.
I was a bit thrown off by the crown guards shown in your picture. Never saw a Sea Wolf diver with crown guards from the Calame era, at least not that I can remember. Had to assume if it was an actual Zodiac case it had to come from the nineties. Bezel certainly matches the late seventies era. Would be very hard to dispute that and the sequential case number identification coinciding with the Super is pretty wild. I wonder if it's a model that never made it into production and parts have just surfaced over the years. Maybe a '78 catalog would have it?
