Zodiac Chrono 18

My father passed away in March and left me his old Zodiac. I know very little about it. It looks to be stainless and the back cover has no markings on it except for what I assume is the serial number 2576052. Can anyone help me identify this watch or give me any direction to research it? Thanks.

Actually the picture I have chosen for my account is the watch I have. All stainless with a black face with red details and a stainless band with the zodiac insignia.

That is a 1970's 2 register manual wind chronograph. The fact that you still have the band makes it even more valuable. To the right person it is probably worth about $500, if serviced recently.
