Just checking on date set on 60's Zodiac

Hi, I am new to the site...I have a Sea Wolf that I bought new in 1965, and a Olympos Automatic that I bought used from a shipmate in the same time period. Regarding the Sea Wolf...I was very careful with it since new, it works fine, but I have forgotten how the date set works. I believe both of these do not have an "stem set" for the date, but that you go back and forth between 9 and 12. Is this correct? Thanks for any help.

Good memory and welcome aboard! Yes, you are correct. Now, do yourself a favor and please read the entire Watch Repair tab before you do this for 30 days.
