Hard to believe that's a man's watch, especially with that narrow looking band. But like Butch said, the older ones are smaller. Still, how often do you see one this old and still running :o Much rarer than a Sea Wolf!

Agreed! but to misquote Crocodile Dundee, "That's not small, THIS is small." And newer but still rare.

butch, what does the word below 17 jewels mean??

Butch

I think it was (a registered?) Zodiac term and a play on a horological  term.

Incabloc:  Shock absorber system used to protect a watch's balance staff from breaking if dropped.

I believe the name Hermetic (which was registered) was that same thing, as in hermetically sealed, or truly air (ergo water) tight.

"intended to secure against the entry of water vapor"

Ultra-Vintage

Not a bad looker, not too far from my house either.  Interesting military "style" dial, but it is hard to tell its true condition with the nasty crystal.

Butch

My manual wind version of it:

Yeah, that is pretty much what stopped me from buying it.  Mine has a 5 digit serial number whereas his is 6.
