Real Patina?

Looks like a fine aged wine tasts...almost too good. Is that real or "helped" out.

My guess is a not so successful resto and relume job.  If you use the zoom feature there's shading around the hour markers, the seconds track and the hand posts.  I think if this was a true patina there wouldn't be this gradation.

There is another of the same model for sale with the same patina. Maybe this is natural patina then?

It's real. The white ones tend to do that. That is why a clean white one is so valuable.

 :shuc         looks like sun damage, a white dial that looks like this has most likely seen a LOT of strong sun exposure. i have seen some sellers call this "tropic dial"!!! YEP, it probably is.  is that an actual gold bezel on the first one??  IMHO, i own and love the white dial but not the "tropic"!
