taking a newbie guess...1624 is not a chronometer movement

The first thing that caught my eye was the redone dial. And most dial re-finishers cannot get the right words on the dial to begin with, so who the hell really knows if this is a chronometer?

So then I looked for a movement pic. Whoa! IS that a Zodiac movement? At the least, the rotor has been replaced. The mounting for the rotor looks to be like an older 1950's AS movement. Unfortunately on Zodiacs, the rotor is where the chronometer info is located. Looking at the dial's indices and hands, I do think it to be from the late 50's, or EARLY 60's though.

So, with all these things I quietly moved on. (Not to mention the absurd price.)
