Question about the gaskets (or lack of) in a Seawolf

Started by McHaggis, March 30, 2017, 02:34:09 PM

While I was cleaning up my Seawolf I noticed that I was cleaning up a lot of gunge, presumably some of it was the remains of previous gaskets that had disintegrated over time. My questions is where were these gaskets originally located? I guess one was on the pop off back but was there supposed to be one between the bezel and the dial as well?

Thanks in advance for any help.

There is one and only gasket in SW's case - around internal rim of the case back (see picture).
Another two gaskets are inside crown.
Very simple and efficient design.

Excellent, thank for that Yuri, I guess all the gunge must just have been gunge rather than secret gasket juice.
