Long story short, I have a Zodiac Automatic Strong incaSecurit Antimagnetique vintage watch given to me by my dad that never ran. I have looked on the internet from time to time for a value to no success.
Today I took the back off to look for a serial number (it has none) and saw 15 jewels written on the inside. I shook it a few times and turned it this way and that and closed the case and it began to work!!
Has some hay like debris on the face from my dad's days working farms and I'm guessing a piece was lodged somewhere and stopped it from running.
Questions are when was it made and in spite of its scuffed up condition, does it have value? Thanks.

Will be 1940's.  Great looking dials from that era, but due to the smaller size of most of them the values for models like that in "as-found" condition often ranges between $50-$150.  They are generally well made and have quality ebauches in them, so they are great heirlooms that can be serviced/restored and passed down to future generations.

Thanks for the reply! Called my dad and told him it was running again and he was like
so amazed. He couldn't remember when he bought it or where, just remembered it quit
working decades ago...lol.
