Well, I wish I had found this site sooner... I already purchased this watch, any thoughts from the attached photos guys? Planning on getting it serviced as soon as it gets here. I believe I have to email Butch for BWG

Sure. Nice specimen.

I sent an email along, thank you in advance.

As far as the watch is concerned, I was told it is in all original condition. I asked about the dial specifically and the seller said it is original. From the pictures I have seen, this seems to be the case. The one thing I did notice in the gallery here is that it might be an early 70's model instead of a 60's model, correct me if I'm wrong. The mesh bracelet probably isn't a Zodiac piece either, although I think it is period correct.

Looks pretty original to me. Dial is probably in better condition then photos suggest. I suspect once the crystal gets polished out it will look very nice.  Case could use a bit of polishing as well but all in all, pretty nice condition.  Standard bracelets on these were typically the stretch variety but the meshes are often substituted, are period correct and in my opinion typically better quality then the stretchies.

I really like the dials on these and consider them among the best looking of the dials designed by Zodiac.  I have the same era Jet but with a white dial.
