I Guess I'm A Zodiac Collector Now

I've been a Zodiac Sea Wolf owner since the '60s (see "My Zodiacs from the 60's...." in "Watch Stories") but of course if one only has black dials they naturally crave a white one. I bought two separate ones on the bay, but had to return both for gross misrepresentations. Couple of weeks ago I lucked out. I found a young lady liquidating her Grandfathers estate (a 20 year soldier) and I got the white dial SW I've been craving. it's a ref 699 and as honest as the day is long (please don't say they are getting shorter this time of year) and runs like a charm right out of the box.
I know a Sea Wolf 699 is hardly a treasure to you guys, but I'm so tickled with it I wanted to show it - I hope nobody minds the listing.

Very nice specimen! Be sure to read the Repair tab in case you have not.

Very nice indeed! I have the same one, love it.

Looks to be a very nice example of a classic model.  A great addition, congratulations  :sm3
