Title: Zodiac pocket watches
Post by: Iktomi on March 15, 2014, 04:47:43 PM
I read that in the last 1920s Zodiac launched a line  of pocket watches and I can't find anyone who's ever owned one let alone ever even seen a picture of one. Have any of you guys heard of these/seen any pictures of them?

Not sure I follow you. Zodiac started out making pocket watches in 1882. Went to wrist watches later. I know in some of the catalogs they show some pocket watches.

Having said that, I have never seen a Zodiac pocket watch that I HAD to have. They are very plain, inside and out. I do not own any of them.

Ah thanks for the info Butch. It's a shame they're plain though.

Hey Iktomi, one of the latest catalogs we are converting right now is from 1952 and it has a page for the pocket watches. Still rather plain though.

Thanks for the update Butch! I'm going to have to agree with you that those are rather unimpressive and bland, especially for that price range.
