Title: Greetings
Post by: Balthazar on July 23, 2022, 09:20:14 AM
Hello there good people,

I ended up here because I was looking for a blue dial for my Astrographic. I'm also kind of interested to know exactly what SST stands for and how it works and I'm trying to figure out if the discs in the dial can be cleaned or if they always are a bit foggy. Looks like I will find most answers here!

This is my watch. I wear it everyday and the bracelet leaves a lot to be desired but finding a replacement one has so far proved futile.

Anyway, thanks for a great recourse site!

Split Second Timing - Hi-Beat Movement 36,000/hr. It was a play on the Concorde SST that was all the rage back then.

I have not seen disks in a long time. I know BWG had some crystals made for them, not sure if he has disks.

Aha, thanks! Is it of any significance?
