the patina on the dial gives it some credibility

Its missing a lot all right ;D
Which one is it supposed to be?
ive never seen that dial before...what era is it from?
It is the normal decompression dial, that usually has the gray and white bezel. It is from the ETA era, just after ETA bought out A Schild. Has the ETA movement, should be 1980s? Butch would know.
This one - 1342 736. Late 1970s. Seen in 1977 catalog.
Early versions were based on Zodiac 72B. ETA version issued somewhere after 1978.
It does help if a Zodiac collector has a subscription to the catalog site.
Thx Yuri.
I have yet to have an early one in hand I guess. Every version of this model I have worked on has always been an ETA movement.
Earliest 736 based on 72 cal is very rare, indeed.
