How much do new hands affect price?

Hello guys. I found a 60s blazing orange sea wolf online I really like and it has a vintage dial and bezel but the hands are not the original. I was wondering how much that would affect the price? I love the look of the watch and honestly like the hands better than the original. I would wear it occasionally but being an expensive timepiece I would like it to have some sort of trade/resale if I want to swap it for something else in a few years.

How much would this affect the value and ability to sell it in the future? Would you guys ever buy something vintage that isn't exactly original?

I would add a picture but since its not mine I want to make sure to follow the rules :)

It would defibately effect the resale. How much? That is up to the buyer really. Like you, right?

Maybe better to get an original and change the hands while you own it so you can change it back. Life happens and sometimes we have to sell.
