This watch was COA , fully serviced by a Master Watchmaker in March, 2017 .
Comes on a NOS (new old stock) US Military Issued od green cotton canvas period correct strap. Not a reproduction strap, which a lot of collectors use, but the real deal. Strap alone goes for $25 to $79 on ebay.
Toward the end of the war and later, when a watch went in for service, they were re-cased in "waterproof" cases.I'm not sure why they were called "waterproof" since they were not. But they were made of Stainless Steel. Most of the original A-11 cases were base metal that deteriorated rapidly.
The A-11 was issued to pilots and navigators per my 92 Year old Dad who flew B-17's in World War II.
