While cruising the bay, I couldn't help but noticing this by our own Yuriy.

I sure hate wishing my life away, but I can't wait to get my copy.

Thanks for the update dmh.

Yuriy, please let us know when you actually have them in stock. My partner and I would be interested in buying a copy.

LOL, well it's six more models than the last Vintage Zodiac Watch book.

Could definitely use some Kinglines though.

Maybe on the revision..., Yuri? :twothumbsup

 :rofl

And the Astrographics guy is saying...
And the Chrono guy is saying...
And the Autographics guy is saying....
And the, well, you get the idea.

Yuri did a pretty good job, but I did not think there will ever be a comprehensive book on Zodiacs so that is why I started collecting all the literature. NOT that I have been able to get it all. As a collector of low serial numbers there are many I would like to see, but I am afraid that info is long, long gone.

Agreed, traffic on non sport Zodiacs much lower, comparing to that five, so it is very hard to research those models.
Astro, Olympos, Autographic, Corsair - you name it - all are great pieces to collect. And, definitely, value of each source of information is paramount these days.

Yeah, I got that.  One can dream though.  Long live the King...line!

Have any of you ever contacted the watch museum in Le Locle for this type of information? I have heard that they keep records in some form or other for some extinct brands. Perhaps they also have info on Zodiac - perhaps even catalogues?

It's a great little museum by the way, placed in the mansion of the former Doxa owner a bit up the mountain on the same side of the valley as the old Zodiac factory. Mostly clocks though as I remember it (I haven't been there since I visited Zodiac with my dad 40 years ago, so things may have changed). Worth a visit if you are ever in the area - make sure to include the international watch museum in neighboring La Chaux de Fonds (another great watch city).

I did, along with several horological magazines, back at the turn of the century, not recently though. Given the popularity of the brand today, and that Fossil bought the name and has revitalized the brand, they may have dug something up by now.
