I am not quite sure what they were trying to go for here.  The seller says that the dial has been "professionally refinished"......I am thinking that he could have left the "professional" part off of that statement, or maybe I just am not seeing the dramatic influences they were trying to express in the artistic creation of this dial? ???

Spoiled hands reflects the situation of we as humans when trying to heal the world.

Scratched crystal means that somebody is watching over us, but He can't see us very well...
