A Ebay buy, an early Olympos SS with a none original Spiedel band and original box. Basically in good condition and I love the quadrant dial. NOn hacking no quickset date. Keeps good time, less than a minute off for 2 weeks. Unknown service history so it will need to go in to be serviced. Thinking a basic service and a new crystal.

It is an honest watch. Some pitting on the under side. The case is very good, not all dinged up on the edges as most are. The Speidel band actually wears better than I thought it would. As a rule I don't like expansion bands. Better with a black leather band?

Thats a nice piece!
Love the box.
I'm with you on stretch bands, but that Speidel is more true to the era.
And  the better quality stretch don't pull hairs as much as the cheapies! :D
If you go leather, i would try to hunt down a s/s signed buckle ( which may be another story! )
Obviously a gen bracelet would be a bonus, but they are thin on the ground.
