:wtf :#banghead :#Clapping :#Laf bored this AM, cruising e-bay under vintage zodiac watch. WOW, some of the ASKING prices ARE unbelieveable! sea wolf with the wrong hands, everyday GMT for 800., ETC. i dont think many of them will find homes at these prices. the wacky world of zodiac watches and e-bay, a thrill a minute.
Trudat.
My favorite was a non-running scratched astrographic without the bands for 500 dollars :lolz;
listing costs are so minimal if you're not selling hundreds of things at a time, there's next to no risk for continuing to run a watch auction at premium or above premium prices. you can wait for someone to bid foolishly.
Yes that is a problem with eBay today. It costs nothing to list a $300 watch for $650 in the hopes that someone comes along with more money than sense.
On the other hand, final value fee's are up so many will list a $300 watch for $650, get an offer of $325, end the auction, sell it and pay eBay nothing.
