Doesn't surprise me, but what Apple is selling is not a watch.  It is a mini-computer on your arm, that just happens to have a clock as one of its features.

Take some duct tape and fasten your cell phone to your arm, there, you pretty much have the same thing.

I would imagine the consumer can't get them fixed by anyone but Apple. More importantly (at least to people like us) is they have no soul. As U V said they just take up wrist space, not a watch per se. I won't even waste my time googling what they do that is the big draw.  Different strokes for younger folks.
