Good afternoon
I am looking for some help and info on a watch left to me by my paternal great grandmother.
It is a ladies watch, more like an evening or occassion watch. It is white metal in colour but where a test has been done on the reverse, yellow metal is showing through. It states 14k on the reverse.
It has a square face with convex glass, the arms that join the strap are filigreed( sorry about spelling).
It has two sets of three diamond or clear stones top and bottom og the face on the case.
The strap is flexible like a snake movement and it has an overlock clasp.
My father remembers his mother wearing this when he was a child.
I managed to contact somebody about 9 years ago but have since lost the contact number. They couldnt find a picture and stated that most non photographed watches pre date 1920.
Please can anyone help or advise how I can find out more about this watch.
Thankyou. :)
