Zodiac Sizes??

In regards to VINTAGE Zodiacs what would you consider to be "mid" sized and what would you consider to be "full" sized
(in mm)
I see that most all Vintage Zodiacs are in the 34-36mm diameter range......  was this fairly common?

Butch

It depends on the model and when they were made. I would say that in the 50's it was 30-32 (Hermetics). Then in the 60's you see them 32-34. In the 70s (excluding the funky shaped ones that went with your platform shoes, see below) they were 32-34. The Kingline dress watch series in the 60's is the exception as they were between 34-35.

So from what I gather from your reply is that Vintage Zodiacs were Mid sized by todays current standards?
My GMT 200 m pro at 36 1/2mm would be mid sized then?

Butch

There were two of the red/blue bezel sold. The smaller one was 813.21.03 and the larger one was 806.21.03. I think they were 36 MM and 38 MM, respectively. Larger than the 60's, much smaller than the stuff you see for sale today.
