A beautiful watch! The Olympos is underrated by the general vintage watch community - in my opinion its one of the most stunning designs from the period, elegant and dressy and at the same time a stand-out design. I have three gold-plated versions, I would like to get my hands on a steel variant like yours, that has a bit more modern feel to it. Or timeless perhaps.

General Zodiac Discussion / One of a kind - need some info

Hello everyone, I bought an old Zodiac as you can see in the pictures. Butch already helped me a lot with some really good answers about this one(thanks again Butch!), it seems it's a frankenwatch with a custom dial/hands/indexes/logo built from various components of vintage Zodiacs. I still have a problem, I can't find any other with the same reference on the back which is 722940. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks, Armando

I have now had the watch cleaned, oiled and put back together.  What kind of accuracy should I be expecting?  And more importantly, what kind of amplitude should I get?  I put the watch on the Timegrapher and used 52 degree and am only getting about 220-230 in the horizontal positions.

And one more question - should I put a gasket before closing up the watch?  There was one that had fully disintegrated so I don't even know what size I should use.  Any help would be appreciated.
Hey all,

For sale is EITHER my Sea Wolf black dial, blue bezel, with date OR my Seal wolf, black dial, standard bezel with no date. I currently do not plan to sell both. So first come, first serve.

The Blue Bakelite Sea Wolf is in excellent condition with the original Kreisler bracelet currently sized for ~7 1/8" wrist with one extra link available. The hacking works and the watch was serviced and repaired by Butch's watch guy in 2018 and runs without issue. I'm looking for $800 OBRO.

The standard black dial, no date come on a JB champion bracelet sized the same as above (no extra links but some room to adjust the bracelet via the clasp. The wear and tear on this is more standard but still beautiful and was purchased from YuriyV in 2017 and runs without issue. Looking for $700 OBRO.

More photos available upon request and feel free to ask me any question. If anyone prefers, I have the zodiac oyster bracelet that I would be happy to swap either of the existing bracelets for that has never been sized with all links.

Not one of those Pakistani jobbers. Is this the real deal? Price and bidding suggest it is. Anyone have any knowledge of this model?

I have one very similar to it in my collection, except not stamped Zodiac, but otherwise nearly the same. Was listed as potentially Zodiac when I bought it, for a small fraction of the above price.

Here are the notes I compiled about it at some point in time. Cannot vouch for the accuracy, except for what I could see or measure.

Brand:Unbranded;Probably ELLY Watch Producer
Movement: Ebauche Trust(Anton Schild) caliber AS 624; 15 jewels ;Hand winding.
Case:Rectangular metal case (gold plated) with two openings: upper for hours, lower for minutes; 34mm x 17mm

Mine more resembles this one:
Date: circa 1930

This should be a crime.
