Hi new to this forum. I have a watch I want to share with you experts. I have recently come to believe this is not a Zodiac however I will let you all be the judge.
I picked this up on E-bay for about $200 a few years ago and upon receiving it was surprised at the overal condition of the dial and case however the pushers were brassed through and the movement did not work. I recently took it to a watchmaker in Cape Town for an overhaul and he sugested the Landeron 48 movement had been recased at some point in time and the dial refinished.
I paid about $200 to have the movement overhauled and the watchmaker made new pushers for it. I have now found a new admiration for this little chrongraph and just wondered what you all thought of it?

It still could be, don't write it off yet. Can you pop the back and give us pics of the movement? What does it say in and outside the case back?

Hi Butch thanks for the reply. Sorry not been on for a few days been travelling a bit. Anyway pics below of the movement Landeron 48 recently fully serviced. The movement has a spacer round it and the case back has no markings so I am thinking it is not the original case. The dial I love however I have scoured the web and canot find another with Zodiac and Chrornographe Suisse markings. Not to worry this little gem will stay in my collection as I think it is a very nice watch been wearing it this last week and had some appreciative comments..
