Hermetic

I have been searching and searching for another example of the watch I have just purchased from Yuryi and this is it with two exceptions. Mine is a day date and it does not have Hermetic on the dial.

Do you know anymore about this case and style of Zodiac?

From information I have, this model exists in two variations:
- horizontal orientation - case #937;
- vertical orientation (like yours) - case #938.
Zodiac produced them in various movements and features. I saw 76 and 86. Above one looks like based on 70-72 or 72B (not clear from the pictures).
The model is Senator. It is in Zodiac catalogs as well (early 1970th).

That's wonderful information Yuryi. It's funny as I found plenty of the horizontal cases versions of this one but only this one other they one I purchased from you of this case style.

This is one of my favourite things about collecting vintage watches, all the research and new knowledge gained.
