Title: Trying to identify an Automatic 70-72
Post by: DaytonSD on August 27, 2015, 08:58:42 AM
I recently restored this nice SS automatic with a 70-72 movement that had considerable rust. I had to use a parts movement to get it back to life. the NOS crystal helps but the dial has rust.... Can you assist with identifying the model of the case.

There will be a model number lightly engraved between the lugs, which you can compare with Butch's catalogs to determine the model. Sometimes, an exact match won't be found, but you might get close. He has several late-60's catalogs that might identify this watch, especially if you can pick through Spanish. You'll need to subscribe for that service.
