Title: Weird dial, no clue of the model
Post by: Vintage Collector on December 08, 2020, 03:42:44 PM
Hi everybody, I am doubting if to buy a Zodiak watch or not, I saw it in a shop so I have no picture but I will try to describe it as well as I can. It is a dress watch, around 36mm, with sub second dial. There is no number in the indexes, and no date window. The dial has like gold colour spider web kind of pattern in the centre, and the tips of the web align with the indexes. It doesn´t look a redial, but it could be.

I'm laying a bet it's a Glorious with a gold, pie pan dial. Any takers?

Good guess, no bet.

Unlikely Glorious. The watch in question has sub second dial.
I'd speculate it is Zodiac Custom. Or similar.

Another good guess. Still no bet.

I always ask for a picture before venturing anything!

A quick search on Glorious models turns up a few with sub-seconds.  That being said, if it were, it would likely say it on the Dial.

Is anyone else having trouble with the catalogs? I keep getting this message when logging in; The requested URL was not found on this server.

Thanks for this. I have reached out to SW about this. I know the company that did the login security he bought went out of business, but have not heard anything lately. Will post when I know more.

Yes, the catalog site is still down because of the reason Butch gave.  I am working on another solution to get it back up.
More information next week as I redo the site.  Thanks our your patience.   :dh

I spoke to SW this morning, he says he is onto a solution and expects it to be resolved this week. He will be reaching out to all who tried to subscribe and got a refund once it is back up and running.

I do apologize for all the hassles and inconveniences.
