Hi All,
Can I please ask if anyone has the measurements for the Sea-Chron crown? I have acquired a piece with a replacement crown, I see there are a few available on ebay etc however I am unsure of the measurements. Have searched multiple sales posts, google etc and not come up with anything.

I thought I had one here I could measure but I do not. The SW crowns are 5 MM so it is larger than that.
Anyone have this watch they can measure?
Diameter - 6.2mm
Tube - 2.4mm
Tap - 11 (0.8mm)
Thank you for the replies, much appreciated now I can hopefully find a replacement. The more I wear the watch the more I appreciate the design, the smaller sub dial at 6 o'clock is something that I haven't see before with valjoux 72 movements.

I wasn't going to comment on this one because I figured you would post, but I think you might want to check on your measurements. I have 3 Sea Chrons, and checked them all. I got 6.3mm on the crowns, but that part might just be a difference in our calipers.
The tubes for these are a standard 2.5mm used on most chrono and dive watches, 2.4 is not a common size for anything vintage.
The tap is extremely different though. Tap 11 is a quartz movement size, very flimsy and easily broken. Most original chronograph crowns/stems were a heavier tap than the standard 10 (.9mm), with the average being a tap 7 (1.15-1.20) which is what the original Sea Chron crowns are. Just before the quartz crisis manufacturers starting using Tap 10 stems/crowns for vintage Chronograph movements, but they were originally made in lower quantities and many are gone/used up.
Thanks Ultra-Vintage, have a put together Zodiac Seawolf? that was my only negative local buying experience here in Singapore that has a crown that is. close to the measurements so if I am lucky I may be able to use that.
For a couple of years I have assumed its a bitza watch. based on one of the picture on this site - I have attached pictures justin. case opinions differ from memory it has a 21 jewel Zodiac movement which I couldn't find in the same configuration as the watch I purchased.
Never heard the term "bitza" before but seems pretty accurate. Seconds hand doesn't go with the minute and hour hands. Dial is definitely an imaginative redial, don't know of any vintage Sea Wolfs in this case that had a 21 jewel movement. That thing is wild.

From the Ebay listings I have seen, they have some "creative" watches in Singapore. Besides the redial, I can't tell what they did with the bezel? 21 Jewel could be a switched movement, or rotor. I do not know the total production breakdown on that reference as to whether some could have had 21j, but I am used to seeing 17j in them.
