370237057006 - hands are NOT original.
280562984705 - I have seen this before, on this and the older model. Dunno why it happens tho, maybe UV has thots on it.
370407569994 - Daddy, that is yucky!

370237057006: I love when they throw incorrect hands on a watch and act like it is a rarity. Also, he is saying that the Seawolf has the same type of movement as a Rolex??? I wasn't aware of that lol
370407569994: That redial has the color of old-style toothpaste. Aweful!
280562984705: That kind of damage is usually caused by prolonged exposure to moisture. The luminous gets that nasty green color (and is often sort of crumbly or fragile), and the printing will prematurely fade like that. Cannot tell in the pics because of the thick crystal, but black dials that have had this type of damage will usually have faded looking waterspots on them that will not clean off as well. More than likely someone took it into the water with the crown not screwed down, and then did not get it dried out quickly enough. I recently got a vintage 1675 GMT for service where the owner took it into the ocean and forgot to screw the crown down, the salt water turned his vintage mint dial into something like this one only worse, and rusted the majority of the movement parts together.
Whenever you see a dial like this, be wary about the condition of the movement. They say this one has been serviced, but no pictures of the movement have been shown, and you dont know what damage may still be present or what things have been replaced. Personally, I wouldnt want the watch for these reasons.
ULTRA--thanks for the very helpful input ! i wasnt bidding on any of these. JON P

:P
I'd say it looks "different". Sea Wolf hands are distinct - having Rolex-type hands on there makes it look odd...
8) this is NOT the first one i have seen with this style hands, there was another one about 6 months back. JON P
