LMAO! Not only is it not NOS, it is not even mint. If I could sell them for that I would quit my day job.
Aww,c'mon man it looks like it has a new "tropic" dive band on it. That has to be worth about 6 or 7 hundred bucks ,
at the very least! hee-haw!!!
LOL! Yeah, and we all know the bezel was that shade of pink when it left the factory too.
:o WOW--i didnt know my GMT was THAT valuable ! LMAO, something new and exciting on the bay every day.
:o i never have figured out why zodiac did the pink/black bezel ! not a womans watch, how many guys picked this color!?
The original color was more mauve than pink, I think what we just see is the aging of almost 40 years. Even on the NOS ones.
That guy is notorious for extremely high overpriced priced auctions. Additionally, even though he allows best offers, he will pretty much only accept nearly what he was originally asking. I attempted to buy a watch from him a couple of years back, and after some back and forth about an offer, he got to keep his watch and I do not think that it ever sold.
Anyone who is interested in that model would go far better with Ebay ID 280604798005
Watch is in much better shape and the seller is an experienced watchmaker with high knowledge on Zodiacs, as many on this forum will know. I've bought several Zodiacs from him myself.
;D OLIVER--you are 100% correct ! this seller IS the one to buy from, AND have repairs/ restorations done. BWG is the man, he has restored 3 zodiacs plus other brand watches for me over the last couple of years with fantastic results. when you buy a watch--any brand, but especially zodiacs--you know it has been done correctly! this gmt IS nice and correct. if i didnt have one already i would be bidding on it.
