Rattle noise?

just go t my watch back from the jeweler's, but I'm wondering....if i shake the watch i can hear a rattling noise inside. i know the rotor moves to wind the watch, is that what I'm hearing? :o :o

Probably. If you flick your wrist while holding it you will hear the rotor spin. There are a plethora of animations of an automatic watch movement on the internet to see how this actually works.

Some of the older ones, due to wear, and the lack of parts by most watchmakers, will be noisy.
