Looks like someone tried to get a little creative when replacing the missing parts to this one.....only, they didnt let the paint dry before they put the hands back on the watch!  :o

I wondered that too, as it didnt look like they had done anything to it.  Also because you really cannot polish vintage gold plated watches all that well.  Not like many people want to polish them anyways, as 3500rpm and medium pressure would leave that vintage case with a heck of a bald spot ;D
