Hi all,  My father has a vintage zodiac (thin manual?) that he bought in Switzerland in 1964 ,all it has on the front is zodiac upper centre  and swiss made at the bottom on the rear is a number 1436408 does anybody know what the number means and are these type valuable ? thanks in advance Jim

Butch

That is the serial number and it sounds about right for a mid-60's model. Probably not worth a lot as it is simple manual wind dress watch. Did you check the back for any 14K markings? Can you upload a picture?

Either way, it would make a nice family heirloom after you read the warnings on the watch repair page and get it serviced.
