Zodiac chronographs seem to always come with an asking price of $1000+ just to start the bidding these days.  They're very quickly being valued close to that of Zenith and Heuer chronographs of the time.  I guess you could say they're finally getting some well-deserved recognition! ;D

That said, I usually am not very interested in SSWs but that 12 hour chrono is very cool.  Not that I could get it even if it was a better price, I have my eye on a black dial Olympos (my favourite model) and just bought a gorgeous Illinois pocket watch a couple days ago.

Would like to have a SSW Chrono, but I am too cheap to pay that kind of price! :what

Anyone know how many of the SSW Chrono's were made?

I only know that Genender SSW's were produced maybe 500 of them, or was it 500 Astrographic's models in each color?
