1624 calibre movement- who made it?

Started by TheWatcher, December 31, 2012, 12:02:46 PM

TheWatcher

I have a 1960s Zodiac Glorious with a 1624 automatic movement. I was just wondering if this movement was designed and made by Zodiac? Did they make their own movements? And if not who's movement is it?
Thanks.

Butch

They were and A. Schild ebauche that was brought in house by Zodiac and modified for their watches.

Thanks Butch. Just re-reading my post about and it looked like I did not "speaky de Englishy"! Spelling and grammar corrected now! ;-)
