Not a Zodiac, but a good illustration of an internet misconception

A common problem with Zodiacs and lots of other vintage watches.  The seller is claiming this watch is NOS, when it is obviously NOT in any way NOS.  The loss of finish on the case front and the marks all over the caseback are a clear indication.  Just because the dial, hands and bezel look super nice, does not mean your watch is NOS.  NOS is new, mint, no marks (except maybe a couple of light marks from storage or handling over the decades), with the bright original factory finish, and likely the original stickers still on it.  NOS does not mean simply really nice condition.  This watch (and most of the others referred to as NOS) is excellent condition, probably just below Near Mint (some may call it NM, but excellent is just my opinion).  Nice dial, hands, and bezel, but it has not been NOS in quite a while.
