On my sea skate the crown is inset into the case...were there different case styles made?

<shrug> Good point. Like yours, mine has an inset too. I was being generous. It could have been moved to another case too.

Not the first time that guy has offered up a franken!
He also trades under at least 3 various names that I am aware.
