The dot system on Zodiac dials?

Hello, all. I usually collect Seikos and Omegas with a smattering of other watches like Trasers. But Several years ago I got 2 90s Zodiacs from the Japan Yahoo Auction.  One is the large size GMT Rolex homage and the other is another Rollie homage with a white? grey dot on its dial. Could someone explain the dot system to me ? I have read the red, gold and blue dots denote the quality levels?
Anyways, here is my dot watch...

I just noticed Butch's 2010 post on the Dot system. So my watch shows the SILVER dot.
He does not say which order is which: highest quality? to lowest? Is Red the highest?

No, red was the bottom level of excellence per the catalogs.
