Pretty face on this aerospace and nice patina. How common are these? Haven't seen one previously ...

Presumably not the original band. I'm guessing from the font, late 1960s early 1970s era. Not bidding, but curious what it'll fetch.

Sorry Rad, I meant to respond to your first query and forgot to. Yes, as with most watches, the black dial was more popular so more were sold. Today the white dial version of the 24 Hr Jet is a rarer model. These usually go for around $400-500 for just the watch.

As for bands, there were many over the years. This model was made for more than 10 years and there are at least 3 versions of it, check out the Gallery. And of course, the catalogs show the bands that came with them too.
Collecting Zodiacs is not for the meek; be an educated collector.
