I everyone. I have just joined recently and thought I would check in and get used to  "the drill". I have been collecting for many years but have been totally oblivious to Zodiac watches. Been wanting an older dive type watch so started looking and reading..you know the rest. Bought my first one a couple of weeks ago and been wearing it ever since. I will put up a couple pictures so you can have a look Be gentle, it is not a "perfect , as new, or worn only on Sundays" kind of watch. I wanted one to wear and "get to know" watch so I bought this one. A Sea Wolf  from the mid 60's with what I believe is the original band.  I have done nothing to it but lightly clean the case, repair the band and put it on. It looses about 15-20 seconds/ day and seems to run forever even when not worn for a day. Bezel shows wear and is a bit brassy. Dial and numbers are bit dark and show a few marks. Looks like original lume but now quite dead. It is a hack movement, Back is so tight I could not get open. So you see.. it's PERFECT. Couple questions: 1) Any one know where I can find one or two of the smaller links for this band. ( hopefully You will get pic.)
2) Are the crystal special for these watches or can they be fitted with commen plastic ones? ( I don't know if mine is original but has some scratches that probably would polish out). I will try pics now.

Nice start! You can get a crystal from most parts houses. The band is not original, they just moved the clasp to it. Be sure to read the Repair tab and don't be embarrassed to ask questions.

Welcome aboard!!

The band may not be original, but it still looks pretty awesome on that watch! That's a great pickup and with a little work should turn out amazing! :secrethand
