Question about vintage Zodiac Aerospace Jet

Hi guys, I am a new member and proud new owner of a vintage Zodiac aerospace jet from the 1970s (I think?  Serial number is 188xxxx).

I am really pleased with the condition, which is overall perfect ...EXCEPT for one part of the case, where it looks like someone tried to prise open the case and bent the metal.  Shown in the picture below.

I would be very grateful for opinions on this.  It was bought from a dealer but he did not disclose it in the description of pictures.  I contacted him saying he should have done so - this was his response:

P.s. Anyone know how common these are?  Are they rare at all?

the relief is normal for these types of zodiac casebacks

they are not very common which dial color do you have?

Since it is a snap back case, a small leap is intended to receive case opener blade. So that opening is normal.
