SeaWolf with metal bezel - original or franken?

This is my first post, so I hope I get it right:)
I'm a noob with Zodiac, but would like to have one of these beautiful watches. I can purchase this SeaWolf 1781 (see pic) with metal bezel, not bakelite. Is it an original or a frankenwatch? The seller claims it to be an early model, but did the 1781 come with metal bezel at all? I can't find anything on the net concerning this.
It has an early Zodiac

It is original. Early 1781 B model. 722 916 case. Markers on bezel used to be on orange color.

Thanks for the participation. Please review the rules and take the appropriate action on that picture if applicable.

Additionally, the paint on the bezel was originally orange and is easily fixed.
