Help with yard sale find

My wife brought this home today from her weekly yard sale excursion. I'm new to this site, but I've done enough snooping around to see that this is a "Red Point" watch. But is it an authentic Zodiac? From the watchband, it may a Hong Kong knockoff - The stamp under the clasp indicates the watchband was made in Hong Kong. I've attached recent photos, and any help would be appreciated.

The watch is a 1990's model but it looks like someone has replaced the band on it.
