Ultra-Vintage

The more rare of the 2 configurations sure, but it is an already uncommon model to begin with.  Rare is so overused by online sellers that at this point it has no meaning  :lafing

radzod

Agreed on the scarcity of rarities Ultra. Does the other configuration come without datographic? Are there other color combinations?

Butch

Look in the 70's catalogs and you'll see both configurations.

Judging from the bid activity and the closing price, I would call it rare. I don't see too many Zodiacs of any style sell for near $900 in open auction.

Saw that. So did the other 88 watchers.

Silly me! I should have known you were on of the 88 anonymous watches. Sorry about that, won't bother myself again.

Sorry Butch, my point (however ineffectively I made it) had nothing really to do with me and everything to do with the 90-something other individuals who chose to watch that auction in the first 24 hours. My analysis of the first-day interest means most of them had specific searches for that model and that is by any measure an elevated level of interest in a Zodiac.

Butch

I see then, good point.
