Like an early Sea Wolf? Not sure what you are asking me, but I will take a stab. It appears to be in great condition for a 60 year old watch. And the price is very good at today's conversion of $378.15.

what reference is this watch? I noticed on the case back it says 10 atmospheres. On other models that look the same the case back says 20t

Butch

This is an earlier model then the ones you referenced.

Any idea what reference the watch is?

What calibre movement is in it?

I want ahead and bought it so I'll post photos here for the group when it arrives do you have any thoughts on what year this particular watch is from?

Interesting article here:  https://thespringbar.com/blogs/guides/the-zodiac-sea-wolf#heading211

Am I looking at a model 699 with the early Zodiac movement (AS1624 without hacking)?

18,000 bph with a running reserve of 42 hours.

Butch

Possibly. Why don't you ask the seller to open it up and check?

It is 699 with 1624 caliber.

Good  that's what I thought.

As to why I don't ask the seller . . . . Its already in the mail.

I figured it was a 1950s and would go well with my super sea wolf.  Now that I bought it I am trying to figure out exactly What I bought. Backwards I know . .

Auntie crystal correct?

The bezel has no clicks. Just turns freely. Was this the way the early divers were designed?

Thank you sir. I'll post some photos of movement when I get it opened up. Is the bezel supposed to Freewheel both directions
